These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by The Refined Luxury, operated by The Refined Luxury LLC., a company registered in Dubai, UAE. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Registration & Eligibility
Customers may create an account to enhance their shopping experience, track orders, and save preferences. By using this site, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction (typically 18 years or older). The Refined Luxury is not liable for any purchases made by individuals under the legal age, even if done without guardian supervision.
2. Products & Availability
We sell both brand-new and pre-loved luxury items. While we update our website frequently, some items may appear as available while being out of stock or reserved. We reserve the right to cancel any orders if the item is no longer available. In such cases, you will be notified and offered a full refund or alternative solutions.
3. Pricing, Currency & Taxes
All prices are listed in Euro (EUR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Please note:

Customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees (for orders outside the EU) are the sole responsibility of the customer.

We do not absorb or reimburse any customs or clearance-related costs.

We ship both locally (Malta) and internationally. While we work with trusted shipping partners to ensure timely delivery, The Refined Luxury is not liable for:

6. Order Cancellations
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. However, if you contact us immediately after placing an order, we may (at our discretion) accommodate a cancellation request. This is not guaranteed.
7. Returns & Refunds
Our full Return Policy is available on our website. In summary:

Returns are only accepted if the item does not match the description (e.g., missing inclusions).

Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused, and with proof of condition (tags, packaging, receipts).

Customised goods and pre-loved items are not eligible for return.

If eligible, refunds are issued via card reversal or bank transfer after inspection (7–14 days processing time).

We cover return shipping costs, but do not offer prepaid labels at this time.

We are not liable for loss/damage during return transit but will assist in recovery.
8. Intellectual Property & Content Use
All content on this website — including product images, brand logos, written descriptions, and layouts — is owned or licensed by The Refined Luxury LLC. and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Refined Luxury LLC. shall not be held liable for:

10. Misuse, Fraud & Abuse

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta and the United Arab Emirates, depending on the buyer’s location and jurisdiction of transaction. Disputes shall be resolved under the applicable law with both parties agreeing to cooperate in good faith.
